Thank you for checking out the Inspirational Business Owners blog series! I am so happy you get to read about Robin! She is one of the most pleasant people that I know and she has been a great encouragement to me in my entrepreneurship journey. Also, she was one of the first stores to sell RefuTea! Enjoy getting to know her a bit better and swing by her website and Instagram to check out the great products she sells! -Autumn What is your business and how long have you been in operation? Michigan Pantry. 4 years When did you know you wanted to run your own business? I have had a few other retail businesses in my past. I worked retail in my early 20's (in a larger department store) and often thought about how I would change things if I could! 😊 If only it was my own!! I liked the creative part of working...displays, finding new products, organizing. Having the flexibility of trying new things and changing things up to make it work! What is one piece of advice you would like to share with fellow entrepreneurs? Don't be afraid to try to new things (and failing) and trying again! What are some of your favorite things to do? ... favorite things to do?? lol...if I had time, I would like to take short weekend road trips off the beaten path. I would also love having a real "crafting space" at home! That is all in the future. For now, I like having 30-45 minutes to grab a coffee and browse a book store and relaxing walks in the warm months listening to audio books! How do you like your tea? relaxing tea! no caffeine.. bedtime tea. All photos pulled from Michigan Pantry website (www.michiganpantry.com) and Instagram @michiganpantry

Rachel is one of the kindest and most hard working people that I know! I am so grateful that she took the time out of her busy schedule to answer these questions and I hope you enjoy getting to know her a bit better! -Autumn
What is your business and how long have you been in operation? Bombshell Blow Dry Bar almost 4 years The Salon Professional Academy 1 year When did you know you wanted to run your own business? Since age 10 probably! My parents are entrepreneurs and have owned a business since i was a kid. I grew up in small business and i have a passion for it! I went to school for marketing and now i have a Salon and Salon Academy! It’s crazy where God leads you. It doesn’t always turn out the way you thought it would but that’s ok because for me it turned out 1000 times better! What is one piece of advice you would like to share with fellow entrepreneurs? Always do what is right even if it’s doesn’t benefit you. Treat your employees like you would treat your family and always think about what is in it for them before thinking what is in it for you! What are some of your favorite things to do? I love working! I know that sounds ridiculous but I can’t wait to go to work in the morning. I love spending time with my salon guests, students and employees! I work with some of the most creative, loving, intelligent women (one man, my husband) on the face of the earth! They love what they do and that makes my job easy! I am here for them and I do everything I do to make them wildly successful! The school is my opportunity to give back what i have learned and to help amazing young adults make life long careers out of what we teach them. It’s so rewarding knowing that our school will impact hundreds maybe thousands of lives! I also enjoy getting my hair done...of course i have to utilize my salon services:) And spending time with my family is very important too! It’s hard not to think about work when you are at home but it’s important to create sacred times with your family too! How do you like your tea? Haha...in my Kombucha! Blog Series Introduction Hello and Welcome! I am happy to share that RefuTea’s first blog series will feature Inspirational Business Owners! 2017 was a very transitional year for me with RefuTea and, as most of you know, with big changes can come big obstacles. I wanted to start a blog series to give credit to some of the amazing business owners that have supported me and that are doing great work in their local communities. Entrepreneurship is a journey and I hope that these blog posts can encourage and motivate each of you reading them to keep pursuing your goals (business or otherwise) and to reach out to your network to help you along the way. On a related note, I have included some photos of my home office. I am looking forward to 2018 and getting down to business! Goals for RefuTea in 2018 include new tea blends, new products, new events, giveaways, blog posts and expansion! Keep checking in for new information and sign up for the eNewsletter by entering your email address on the contact page (https://www.refuteashop.com/contact.html). Next week’s first Inspirational Business Owner blog post will launch on Wednesday and you won’t want to miss it! Until then, I hope you keep pushing your goals forward.
