RefuTea is an eCommerce based social enterprise. Ten percent of sales at the end of each quarter are donated to refugee resettlement agencies in the Greater Grand Rapids Michigan area. RefuTea aims to bridge the gap between resettlement and assimilation by employing refugees to package and serve tea. ​Some of the organizations RefuTea donates to and helps support are listed below.

About the Owner

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to learn about RefuTea. My vision is to sell a product people enjoy, help educate my local community and inspire refugees to thrive. I have a degree in International Relations and experience working with refugees and resettlement agencies in the Greater Grand Rapids Michigan area. RefuTea was born after I learned about the lack of employment available to refugees upon resettlement. One day, I will open a RefuTea cafe and employ refugees but until then, please take a moment to explore the site and see how RefuTea is growing.
